All of my work is black and white, and most recently lith prints. I use lith printing to make images with an old, somewhat mystical appearance. This process reduces detail, produces a warm tone and introduces texture as an important element. It allows me to create a photograph that is uncluttered by detail—to emphasize the essential elements of structure in both still life and landscape.

The final print is pleasing to me because of the minimal nature of its form and texture. Its simplicity is pleasing to me in these times of ever-increasing complexity.
